About this course

This 8-week VCE English exam revision and preparation course is designed to help students maximise their performance in the final exams.

Each week focuses on targeted skills like essay writing, textual analysis, and effective exam strategies. Students engage in practice exams, receive personalised feedback, and work on refining their writing techniques.

By the end of the course, students will have built their confidence and conquer the VCE English exam!

About your tutor, David

Hi everyone,

I’m David and I have been tutoring VCE English for the last three years — ever since I’ve graduated in 2021! I scored a 43 study score in English, achieving a 20/20 on section C of the exam. I am a third year student at Deakin University, studying a Bachelor of Laws and Arts.

I am a huge Kendrick fan (and yes, Drake lost) and collect vinyls! Music has been sown into my life and it is the one thing I can’t live without.

Now I have to confess that my VCE English journey was not smooth sailing. In fact, I scored a low mark on one of my SACs; but if anything my VCE journey is the exemplification of resilence — that you can bounce back from a bad mark and still achieve a 40+ study score.

As a seasoned English tutor, I know intimately what VCAA examiners are looking for — your reading of the text. In this Course, I will impose some insightful connections that make writing a helluva easier.

  • Yes! The first week is free where you are able to decide if you would like to continue with the course.

    The first week would be about consultation and feedback, with David creating a tailored-made, strategic exam plan.

  • After you sign up, David will give you a call to setup your first lesson which will be a debrief on your progression in VCE English.

    David will create a study plan with you to stratgise how best to carry out your English revision.

    From there, you will be sent links either through SMS or email to join the weekly skills masterclasses.

    Also, you are able to undertake feedback sessions after the submission of any practice material, subject to David's availability.

  • The weekend skills masterclass and the feedback sessions will be online only via Zoom.

    However, the weekly session with David can either be in-person or online, depending on the location.

  • For sure! You will have all resources made to available to you, regardless on when you start.

  • Yes! The more friends you refer, the bigger your discount is!

    All discounts will be subjected to specialised pricing agreed upon by Keda and the student.

  • You can pay either through cash (if you undertake an in-person class with David) or bank transfer.

  • You can either pay on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. Alternatively, you are able to pay all in one go.
